I'm just going to write it in here temporarily. Will move this to another blog, if I decide to record it in a blog format that is.

Well, during prayer meeting today, we talked about training. It made me think, how long has it been since I've really actually heard God's word. I left church a few years back due to some reasons, and after leaving st.margaret's, I felt so distant with God. So, i decided to start on my quiet time from today onwards. Its weird to be doong it at 2AM. I'll find a better time for it.

Topic: God's riddles

Very often when we read the bible, its filled with complex words and phrases that we do not understand. It may be the way it is written, or even the translation. But today, I learnt that God likes to talk in riddles. Funn isn't it? Well, not everyone is able to decipher those riddles and thus, we may give up reading the bible halfway because of its 'complexity'. It had happen to me too often a time...

"Our responses to God's riddles shows how much we really want to know of him." If we were to read those riddle-verse over and over again, I'm sure that we would be able to make something out of it. When still not sure or 'catch-no-ball' at all, PRAY. Not to ask God to miraculously let you understand what it means, but to give us the wisdom to understand his words and reflect upon them.
